No. Rekoni builds the records you file from. You or your accountant do the filing. We are not a licensed tax practitioner and we don't submit anything on your behalf.

Your transactions sorted into money in, expenses and transfers, spending grouped by category, what the business retained, and a list of anything unclear. Every figure ties back to the closing balance on your statement, so you can check it yourself.

You can, and it will give you categories. Two things it won't give you.

It doesn't read Nigerian bank narration — "TRF/FRM/OJA MART/PAYSTACK" is a Paystack settlement, "SMS/MAINT CHARGE" is a bank charge and not a subscription. That vocabulary is learned from thousands of Nigerian statements, not worked out from first principles, so a general tool guesses and guesses confidently.

And it gives you a conversation, not a dated register with a running balance, consistent categories, and a note of what's still unconfirmed — which is the form an accountant will take from you.

No, it gives your accountant something to work from. Most of what an accountant charges for at year-end is assembling records that were never kept. Turn up with those already done and the conversation is shorter.

It flags it instead of guessing. You confirm whether it was a sale, a business expense, a personal payment, a transfer, a refund or a loan, and the figures update. A number you can't explain is the one that causes problems later.
